Bioenergy is one of the potential solutions to satisfy extensive demand for energy and reduce fossil fuel dependency. For biomass be an efficient source bioenergy, it must converted a usable form, which pellets. This study compares three commonly used methods produce pellets in depot presents framework select most effective economic pelleting processes. The comparison performed using data driven decision-making method called Preference Index Selection Method (PSI). We considered main pelletization technologies compared four their critical attributes. popular pellet processing this are conventional process (CPP), high moisture (HMPP), ammonia fiber expansion (AFEX). These processes were evaluated from both environmental perspectives. state Mississippi as testing ground our analyses. results obtained through PSI validated with Grey relational analysis (GRA) method. revealed that available processes, environmentally friendly.
